Swiss tragedy in two parts

After the loss of the champion Stan Wawrinka of Grigor Dimitrov the other Swiss in the scheme - the finalist Roger Federer - eliminated in the third round of the Monte Carlo tournament series "Masters 1000".

The placed under No14 in the scheme Gael Monfils beat the second Federer with 6 4, 7:6 (5) and will meet Dimitrov in the quarterfinals tomorrow.

In the tiebreak the exchange of the margins came at 3:3 points. Then Federer leaded with 5: 3, but Gael took the next four rallies, and with it the match.

The Frenchman finished with 22 winner hits and 22 unforced errors, while the Swiss ratio was 17-38.

Monfils leads with 2-1 wins against Grigor Dimitrov. Both of his successes are at the Open Championship of the United States in three sets in 2011 and 2014. The Bulgarian recorded a victory in 5:1 games and reject to Gael at the semifinal in Bucharest last year.
