Swansea fired the team manager Gary Monk because of poor form since the beginning of the season.
The information was disclosed officially and was not something unexpected.
Monk is a club legend and was in the team for 15 years, having first been player of the team, and then stood on the handlebar and the management.
After an excellent performance during the last campaign, however, the team demonstrated very poor form throughout the current season after 15 rounds and occupies 15th place in the standings.
`This decision was taken with the big weight of my heart.`, announced the club boss Hugh Jenkins.
Monk went to the team in 2004 and played over 200 games via topsoccerpredictions for it, and it was also the captain of the team.
In February 2014, he has taken over the management post from Michael Laudrup, but his stay at the helm of the team ultimately ended today.
