Almost all teams in the Premier League of England have their teams a bookmaker sponsoring the clubs of the most popular league in the world.
In seven of them - Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Stock City, Sunderland, Watford, West Ham and West Bromwich, the sponsor is the main sponsor and his name is on the front of the shirt, says Meridian Match. The survey shows that bookmakers have invested 100 million euros a year in English sports, and an impressive sum of 80 million has gone to football.
Different clubs are also targeting a different partnership model. For example, Marathonbet is a United Worldwide sponsor with the exception of China and the United States.
Already in 2013, Bodog signed up with Arsenal, as contractors `advertised the company in Asia, but Chelsea has a contract with Betfair for Europe, but without Britain, Italy and Eire, where this function is performed by Paddy Power. Even an unattractive team like Bournemouth gets 6m euros a year.
British market analysts note the extreme boom in football bookmakers` ads, as the first such sponsor appeared in unpretentious Fulham only in 2002, and nowthe usual until recently beerour societies are pushed into the background. `This trend from England makes it stranger to propose a change to the Gambling Act, which prohibits the advertising of bookmakers and lottery games, football clubs predicted by live stream soccer themselves, and much of the volleyball andbasketball teams have already said that such a change will be detrimental to the future.
Bookmakers would not only withdraw their ads from the country, but would also reorient their markets to other countries, which could bring the treasury to big losses.
