Southhampton and Newcastle showed serious interest to an attacker of Kuis Park Rangers Charlie Austin.
The 25-year-old footballer implemented 17 goals in the Premiership this season, but has now dropped out of the League. Southampton will take part in the Europa League and Ronald Koeman wants to strengthen his team with the English striker.
Newcastle is building a team for the next season, and also became interested in the goal scorer.
Charlie Austin went to the team of Queens Park Rangers from Burnley in 2013 and scored 37 goals in 68 appearances in all competitions for that club.
